Honestly, I had pretty low expectations for this at the price. I needn't have worried - it works perfectly. Some key points- even driving on a bright day I found this result visible - it was good to get the angle of the transparent projection screen just right for my seating position.- I found the flattest part of my dash to use for the mounting, I am not sure just hope all it would sit on an undulating or heavily curved surface as I didn't try (it might be ok as the pad is very grippy)- out of the box, mine seemed to read about 7 km/h faster than a reading from google maps and an old style sat nav unit that were reporting same speed. While I found the manual to be less than effusive here, it is easy to adjust and seems to be preset to read a little high but I am speculating a bit there. Once I adjusted it down -6 km/h - it is now within circa 0.5 km/h of my independent devices and I'm more than happy with that.- the speed shows in white numbers and is easy to see, the secondary display unit is displayed in blue which is also easy to read. The cardinal directions show as small symbols in red and are more difficult to read in bright sunlight-it consumes a 12V cig lighter plug to make it work - I use a 4 plug hub/splitter to get around this issue.I've no idea how long it will last but for less than AUD $50 this is a simple but effective bit of kit that is much easier for me to track what speed I'm travelling than to constantly look further down to my old school analog speedometer. I am really thrilled. I would highly recommend it if you're in the market for something like this.
